Mr. Potato Head had decided he had
enough of Adventureland for awhile. So he and
a few of his friends wandered towards a place that represented hope for him in the form of the
future, Tomorrowland.
As he walked into Tomorrowland he saw
something that brought horror to his
potato eyes. There in all his horific grandeur was
a giant representation of Zurg! As he
covered his eyes in horror, he had to wonder
what kind of person or group would would celebrate such a horrid toy? |

Before entering this horrific
building that seemed to celebrate the
travesties of a horrid toy known
as Zurg, Mr. Potato Head
consulted with what seemed to be a computer as to how to defeat this terrible rival. He was glad he would not have
to face Emperor Zurg alone but
instead would be with his new
found Disney friends. |

|
Mr. Potato Head then decided
to have his photo taken in front
of the "good guys" at the
entrance of this potentially
deadly realm of Emporer Zurg. He wanted proof that he was
brave enough to face his fears
in case he was scalloped during
his encounter with Zurg. |

|
|
| |
Mr. Potato Head carefully climbed aboard a transport with
his comrades. Carefully grasping his blaster, he breathed
deeply and prepared for the adventure
he was about to embark upon.
As the journey began he wondered,
what would it be like to face the mighty
and evil Emporer Zurg?
Would he be able to stand and fight like a potato?
Or would he instead run like gravy?

It began.
Blasts of light exploded
around Mr. Potato Head!
As he fought back against Emporer
Zurg's army, he wondered if he
was experiencing what it would
be like to be in a microwave.
He carefully took aim and blasted
at the onslaught of invaders.
"How could people do this for fun?"
He could not believe that people
road this terrifying attraction
for recreation.
Mr. Potato Head began to seriously
contemplate the wisdom of a
potato visiting Disneyland. Maybe
this place was more magical for
someone else?

As they continued on,
Mr. Potato Head couldn't take it anymore.
He closed his eyes and held on for dear
life while praying that his companions could
navigate them safely through this
horrible experience.
Suddenly as quickly as it began,
Mr. Potato Head found himself free
to move about.
Emporer Zurg was gone.
Where he went, Mr. Potato Head did not care.
All he knew was that he was safe
with his Disney companions.
The room Mr. Potato Head found himself in reminded
him of his childhood as a little spud,
wrapped in a celophane box,
waiting for some boy or girl to take
him home to be their toy.
As he wandered around he happened across
a dear friend of his...
Buzz Lightyear.

Buzz explained to Mr. Potato Head how
he, with the help of his Space Rangers,
had come to defeat Emporer Zurg.
After hearing the story Buzz told,
Mr. Potato Head was very glad that he
had missed seeing the final battle and
Emporer Zurg's demize.
The good news was that with
Emporer Zurg gone, Disneyland suddenly
became a much safer place for a potato
to visit.
As Mr. Potato Head glanced around the room,
he laughed at the the stuffed Emporer Zurg
toys. Feeling much braver now,
he even had his picture taken
with re-creations his once fearsome enemy.

As Mr. Potato Head continued to
explore the room he came across
what would be one of the highlights
of his trip to Disneyland.
He wished his family back in
the potato patch could see him as
he quickly donned a Space Ranger
uniform.
For the first time in
Star Command history,
a potato became a Space
Ranger.
With his new uniform,
and new found courage,
Mr. Potato Head was ready to
face the evil Emporer Zurg if he
should ever return to Disneyland.

Before leaving, Mr. Potato Head
had his picture once again taken proving
that he had survived the wrath of
Emporer Zurg.
As his picture was being taken,
Mr. Potato Head started to wonder if
he might actually be starting to enjoy
the adventures he was experiencing
at Disneyland.
"And why not?" he pondered, "If I haven't
been fried facing a temple of doom or
fighting Emporer Zurg, maybe Disneyland
gives potatoes some sort of magic..."
Just how magical Disneyland was for a
potato, he still had to find out. |
