DAPs for Disney Magic Hotel Reviews - Anne-Marie Pringle

Name of Hotel: Sheraton Anaheim

Website: www.sheratonanaheim.com

Address: 900 South Disneyland Drive
Anaheim, CA 92802

Annie's Rating: Four out of Five Mickeys

Cost at Time of Stay: $85 a night

Location: The property is located across from the back side of the park at the corner of Ball and Disneyland Drive. It is a one minute drive to the parking structure, but they also have a shuttle that runs every half hour to and from the park.

Room: The Sheraton has the nicest rooms around. We had a room with two queen beds, but the room we got wasn't as big as some of the other ones I have stayed in at the same hotel. On each bed, was a very comfortable mattress with a down comforter and four pillows, two foam and two feather. The bathroom did not have a fan, so it did get a little stuffy when it was shower time, but like I said, I have never had this problem before. There were two sinks, one inside the bathroom, and one outside of it. This made it very convienet when brushing teeth, doing hair, ext. when someone else was taking a shower.

Condition of Hotel: The hotel is kept in very good shape. The lobby is beautiful with koi ponds running through the seating area. There is also a seating area around the fireplace. The grounds are equally as beautiful with lots of grass and paths you can take to sit and just relax. The pool is also amazing with it's sparkling water. It always seems to be the right temperature as well.

Hotel Staff: The best around. They are very polite and willing to help you with anything you need.

Overall Comments: Beware that you will be paying $10 a night for parking if you have a car there. Some nights it is hard to find a parking spot because they do have conventions and other such things going on, especially on the weekends. Kids will love the castle feel, but be careful, you can get lost because it is as big as a castle! There is a restaurant on site, as well as a bar. They also offer foom service. If you choose to stay here, become a member of their rewards program. If you get there early enough in the day, you can ask for an upgrade, which usually means a suite just for having the card.
